Grievance Procedures
- Individuals who participate in a CMTE course provided by EnlightenCE have the right to file a grievance.
- Participants must provide written documentation of the complaint, outline the problem as perceived, and state the preferred solution within 30 days of the completion of the course.
- E-Mail the grievance letter to: EnlightenCE, jen (a) enlighten-ce.org with “grievance” in the subject line.
- Once the grievance letter is received, Jennifer Sokira will review the information and then respond in writing within 14 days of receipt of the grievance.
Appeal Procedures
- If you disagree with the resolution of the grievance, you have the right to appeal the decision.
- State the reasons for your appeal in a letter and mail it to Connecticut Music Therapy Services within 14 days of the receipt of the providerʼs response.
- The appeal will be reviewed and responded to in writing within 14 days of receipt.
- If the grievance still is not resolved satisfactorily, you have the right to ask the CBMT Continuing Education Committee to address the unresolved grievance.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
60 days prior to the opportunity, registrants will receive a FULL refund of their registration fee.
30 days prior to the opportunity, registrants will receive a 50% refund of their registration fee.
2 weeks prior to the opportunity, registrants will receive 25% refund of their registration fee.
*Participants that are forced to withdraw for medical/emergency reasons may be eligible to receive a prorated refund.
